Tariffs - Update 6
The 25% Canadian surtax on US-manufactured products has now been cancelled. The only products I have in stock which include this cost are very few Digitrax and Kadee items. So - its safe to backorder any out-of-stock items you require.
Meanwhile, many US manufacturers are finally raising their retail prices on China-manufactured products, to help offset the tariff. For example Atlas, Bachmann, Bowser and Walthers are currently increasing prices by 10-15%, as they receive new stock. I am in the process of "adjusting" my prices to suit, but this will be ongoing for a while. Of course I have to say that this is a good time to stock up :-)
