Shipping & Returns

Shipping within Canada

Shipments to Canadian addresses are subject to the Goods and Services Tax on both sub-total and shipping charge. Shipments within Ontario are subject, also, to the Retail Sales Tax (with the exception of books). Residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are subject to the Harmonised Sales Tax.

Shipping costs for orders processed through the store are calculated automatically based on size, weight and destination. Orders are sent by Canada Post “Expedited Parcel” or “Lettermail”.

Items currently in stock will be shipped within seven days of your order being processed. Once backordered or pre-ordered items are received they will be either shipped to you or held for your next shipment, depending on the size of the order. If no future shipment is likely in the near future you will be contacted. Our policy is to keep out client’s costs to a minimum. You are welcome to personally pick-up your order from our warehouse – just indicate this at the checkout.

Shipping to the USA    

Shipping costs for orders processed through the store are calculated automatically based on size, weight and destination. Orders are sent by Canada Post  “Expedited Parcel – USA”, “USA Small Packets Air Mail” or “USA Small Packets Surface”, as available and chosen by the client.

Items currently in stock will be shipped within seven days of your order being processed. Once backordered or pre-ordered items are received they will be either shipped to you or held for your next shipment, depending on the size of the order. If no future shipment is likely in the near future you will be contacted. Our policy is to keep out client’s costs to a minimum.

Shipping International

Shipping costs for orders processed through the store are calculated automatically based on size, weight and destination. Orders are sent by Canada Post  “International Parcel Air”, “International Parcel Surface”, International Small Packet Air” or ”International Small Packet Surface”, as available and chosen by the client. Note that the purchaser is responsible for any applicable import duty or taxes.

If no future shipment is likely in the near future you will be contacted. Our policy is to keep out client’s costs to a minimum.

Defective Product

If an item is found to be defective or missing parts we suggest that you contact the manufacturer as soon as possible. In most cases an email can be sent from the company’s web site. Remember to give the product name and number, together with a full description of the problem. If contact with the manufacturer cannot be made, or if you are not satisfied with their response or action, email or call us and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

Product Return

If you have been shipped an item that was not what was ordered we will be happy to replace it, at no cost to you, provided that the item is new, unused and in the original packaging.

If you have been shipped an item that was ordered, but is not what you want and wish to return it, you may do so. Return the item within 30 days of receipt for credit towards a future purchase. However, for items not purchased through the online store, but by special order, we may deduct a re-stocking charge.
