Description

Published by Boston Mills Press (1981)

Hardcover book.

Subtitled: "A Pictorial History of the Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Railway"

The railway was constructed as a feeder link to the Canada Atlantic Railway system. Also, it opened up the timber limits of it's promoter, J.R. Booth. Finally, the port at Depot Harbour made the OA&PS the shortest route to the east. The hours of research and the excellent photographic record achieved combine to make this book an engrossing account of this significant Ontario railway.
